    該片在大陸上映第４天，票房約2.8億人民幣（約14億台幣），排片量比《鐵道飛虎》和《長城》２片要高，成績不俗。梁朝偉曾說拍《擺渡人》的喜劇橋段時非常開心，更自嘲拍攝時像在「慢性自殺」，因該片融合喜劇、悲情和勵志的元素，卻有影評稱他表現浮誇，全片通俗無味，也沒王家衛獨特的風格美學。
